Title: Basis of Presentation Accounting Policies: Significant Accounting Policies, Provider Relief Fund De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: BSWH uses its predetermined/negotiated indirect cost rate rather than the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate described in the Uniform Guidance. The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the “Schedule”) includes the federal grant activity of Baylor Scott & White Holdings and Its Controlled Affiliates (collectively referred to as the “System” or “BSWH”) and are presented on the accrual basis of accounting. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Therefore, some amounts presented in this Schedule may differ from amounts presented in, or used in the preparation of, the consolidated financial statements of BSWH. Negative amounts represent adjustments made to amounts reported in the prior year in the normal course of business. BSWH uses its predetermined/negotiated indirect cost rate rather than the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate described in the Uniform Guidance.
