Title: Note A Accounting Policies: Accrual Basis of Accounting De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: The City has elected to not use the 10% de minimus indirect cost rate allowed under the Unform Guidance. The accompanying schedule of expendiutres of federal awards includes the federal grant activity of the City of Livingston, Texas and is presented on the accrual basis of accounting. The information in this scheudle is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniforma Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and the Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. Therefore, some amounts presented in the schedule may differ from amounts presented in, or used in the preparation of, the financial statements.
