Accounting Policies: The Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards includes the federal grant activity of the Bartow County Board of Education and is presented on the modified accrual basis of accounting. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. Therefore, some amounts presented in this schedule may differ from amounts presented in, or used in preparation of the financial statements.

Rate Explanation: The School District did not utilize the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate.
The amounts shown for the Food Distribution Program represents the federally assigned value of nonmonetary assistance for donated commodities received and/or consumed by the system during the current fiscal year.
