Title: GENERAL
Accounting Policies: The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards is presented using the modified accrual basis of accounting, which is described in Note A to the Township’s financial statements. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement.
De Minimis Rate Used: N
Rate Explanation: The Township of Upper Darby has elected not to use the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate allowed under the Uniform Guidance.
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards presents the federal grant activity of the Township of Upper Darby for the year ended December 31, 2020. The Township of Upper Darby reporting entity is defined in Note A of the Township financial statements. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Therefore, some amounts presented in this schedule may differ from amounts presented in or used in the preparation of the basic financial statements. Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the Township of Upper Darby, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net position, or cash flows of the Township of Upper Darby.
