BASIS OF PRESENTATION Accounting Policies: Expenditures reported on the Schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting and are recognized following the cost principles contained in Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement. Pass-through entity identifying numbers are presented where available. De Minimis Rate Used: Y Rate Explanation: The Organization has elected to use the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate as allowed under the Uniform Guidance, unless otherwise specifically required by applicable grant agreement or approved by the granting agency. The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards and state financial assistance (the “Schedule”) includes the federal and state grant activity of Catholic Charities, Diocese of St. Petersburg, Inc. and Affiliates (the “Organization”) under programs of the federal government and state grant activity of the State of Florida for the year ended June 30, 2023. The information in the Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, and Chapter 10.650, Rules of the State of Florida Auditor General. Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the Organization, it is not intended to, and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets, or cash flows of the Organization. All federal awards and state projects passed through other government agencies are included in the accompanying Schedule.

Total awards expended under this cluster amounted to $12,906,553 for the year ended June 30, 2023.
