Accounting Policies: Expenditures reported on the schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Suchexpenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, whereincertain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement. The Agency haselected not to use the ten percent de minimis indirect cost rate allowed under the Uniform Guidance.

Nonmonetary assistance is reported in the schedule at the per-unit values as determined by the State of Tennessee Department of Agriculture. At June 30, 2022, the Agency had food commodities in inventory totaling $162,308.
