Accounting Policies: The basic financial statements of Hall County, Georgia (the "County"), as of and for the year ended June 30, 2022, include the operation of the Hall County, Georgia component units. The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards does not include federal financial assistance received directly by the Hall County Health Department, because this component unit engaged other auditors to perform an audit in accordance with the Uniform Guidance. Accordingly, the accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards presents the federal financial assistance programs administered by the County, and does not reflect the federal financial assistance programs administered by the Hall County Health Department component unit.The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards is presented using the modified accrual basis of accounting.
