Title: Basis of Presentation Accounting Policies: Expenditures reported on the schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited to reimbursement. Pass-through identifying numbers are presented where available. De Minimis Rate Used: Y Rate Explanation: The Agency has elected to use the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate when allowed by the pass-through agency. For the year ended June 30, 2022, the Agency used the de minimis indirect cost rate of 10% for grants received from Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards includes the federal grant activity of Families First, Inc. and Subsidiaries (the Agency) under programs of the federal government for the year ended June 30, 2022. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. Therefore, some amounts presented in this schedule may differ from amounts presented in, or used in the preparation of, the basic financial statements.

Management does not believe that such disallowance, if any, would have a material effect on its financial position. As of June 30, 2022, there were no material questioned or disallowed costs as a result of the grant audits in process or completed.
