Title: Note 1: General Accounting Policies: The Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards and State Financial Assistance is maintained on a modified accrual basis of accounting for Governmental Fund types, and the full accrual basis of accounting for the Proprietary Fund types, as described in the notes to the financial statements; however, subrecipient expenditures are included when paid. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: The County did not elect to utilize the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate. The Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards and State Financial Assistance presents the activity of all federal programs and state projects of the Brevard County, Florida, primary government, as defined in Note 1. A. to the financial statements.

The amount reported for the Florida Beach Management Funding Assistance Program includes expenditures incurred in a previous fiscal year for beach and dune sand placement, and dune vegetation planting.
