Title: Noncash Assistance: National School Lunch Program Accounting Policies: Expenditures are reported on the modified accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized as the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: The District has not elected to use the 10 percent de minimus cost rate allowed under the Uniform Guidance. Includes $4,121,626 of donated food received during the fiscal year. Donated foods are valued at fair value as determined at the time of donation.
